15 MONTH SCHEDULE

HELLO 15 MONTHS! How the heck can it feel like time is flying by and stopped at the same time? This mom life is a crazy thing, but I love every minute of it (correction: most minutes!). I want to catch you all up to speed on what life has been like over here lately. I'll lay out our daily schedule so you can see what a typical day looks like and some photos! June and Violet are now into everything! They love exploring and playing with anything that isn't a toy! They aren't too big on sharing these days and are pretty stubborn about most things. Luckily they will get over it quick once you get their mind on something else. A few things they love right now: cats, Barney, Moana, reading, their teepee, climbing on anything, cheese, blocks, making you laugh.

6:15-7:00 Wake Up - They wake up sometime around here and they always wake up within 5 minutes of each other. I wake up an hour earlier than they do and do my yoga, so their bottles are all ready to go. I'm still giving them 6 oz. of whole milk when they wake up.

7:00-7:45 Play Time + COFFEE - This is when the girls play in the living while Andrew and I eat breakfast and drink coffee. Usually I'll just have a granola bar. I just found a new show on Nick Jr. called Tickety Toc that's super cute and they really like it. They say 'tick tock' when it starts playing!

7:45 Breakfast - I sit the girls in their high chairs and give them fruit and eggs. I always put some shredded cheese on their eggs (they are obsessed with cheese) and either banana, strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. I usually make three eggs and eat whatever is left over. Sometimes they each will eat one egg each and other days they don't eat much at all. I also found these gluten free pancakes at Trader Joe's which they are starting to like.

8:15-9:00 Play Time + Get Ready - After I clean everything up in the kitchen I'll head into our room to wash my face, brush my teeth and get dressed. Usually I'll put on some work out clothes while the girls run around the house playing. I'll also get the girls dressed for the day. For clothes, I'm loving Old Navy, Zara, Baby Gap and H&M.

9:15-9:45 Run - This is when I like to get out of the house and get my run done with. It's 30 minutes of quiet and we all get some fresh air. WIN WIN. Video coming soon on my fitness routine and how I've been working on getting my pre-babies body back. (I say as I sit here eating chips. #balance)

10:00-11:00 - More Play Time + Cleaning + Snack - I literally am cleaning all day long! It does not stop! I have to tell myself to stop cleaning sometimes so I actually get some work done. For a snack, here are some options I'll give the girls: granola bar, string cheese, fruit, crackers, yogurt or fruit snacks. I'll also give them their water bottles, they like these two HERE and HERE. The girls and I will play in their playroom, or my room if I have to do my makeup and/or hair. Sometimes we'll go in the office and tackle some emails. I have a few toys/things they can play with in each room. **This is also when we will leave the house if I have to run quick errand or just get out. I usually only go somewhere for an hour. I like to come home just in time for lunch.

(I feel like I've typed a weeks worth of activities already.....)

11:30ish Lunch Time - I've been trying to give them lunch later and later so I can put them down for their nap later. For lunch here are some go-to things: Trader Joe's or Annie's pasta shells, fruit, fruit/veggie pouch, turkey or ham, yogurt, corn, peas, quinoa, black beans and sweet potatoes. Sometimes I'll mix black beans, sweet potatoes and corn with a little cheese, heat it up, and they really like it.

12:00-12:30 Put Down For Nap - I try to wait as late as possible to put them down. Trying to get closer to 1:00 these days. They will usually start to get fussy and grab their blanket when they are pretty tired.

12:00-2:30 Nap - Okay this is changing lately. They used to sleep from 12-2 every single day but lately they've been sleeping a little longer and it's been magical. Today Violet slept from 12:30-3ish and June until 3:20. An extra 20 minutes feels so long!

During their naps I'm in full-on Wonder Woman mode. I have never been able to get so much done in two hours than I can these days. I'll respond to emails, edit a video, or film. Oh and I also try to eat something!

2:30-3:30 Bottle/Play Time/Snack - When they get up they get 6 oz. of milk (and drink it so fast!). We play, read and usually watch Barney. For a snack I'll give them something like I already mentioned earlier.

3:30:00-5:00 Leave The House + Run Around - Sometimes we'll leave the house once they have snack and go to Marshalls or somewhere just to get a change of scenery. This is the time of day when they start to get a little fussy and I'll give them anything and everything to keep them happy. My go-to lately has been two bins full of plastic bowls and bottles. They love anything now that ISN'T a toy. I also will turn on Moana because they are obsessed. They used to only watch the songs, but now will watch way more of it.

5:00-5:30 Dinner - I feed them basically some variation of what I give them for lunch. I always try my best to mix it up. But I don't give them much fruit for dinner. And during the day I'll give them crackers every now and then.

6:30 Bath - We give them a bath every other night. Sometimes more if they are really fussy because they love being in the water. But there are nights when Andrew and I just aren't in the mood to do the whole bath routine. Whoever isn't giving the girls a bath will make the bottles. We do 7oz. of milk at night.

7:00-7:30 Bottles + Play Time - Once they have their jammies on and have had their bottles, they like to play a little before bed. We'll all go in the playroom together and read, sing, dance...basically everything to get all their energy out.

7:30 Bedtime - The second they hit the mattress they pass out! The amount of energy in these two little girls astounds me every day. But the nice thing about that is they sleep hard once they do go to sleep. Let me know if you want a post on their sleep routine. We sleep trained when they were 4 months old (here is a video all on it) and since then, they are great sleepers.

Once the girls are in bed, Andrew and I get to catch up on our shows! I hope you all got some insight into what a typical day looks like for us. Keep in mind each day is slightly different. But I always have them home for their nap around 12! If we ever have a play date or any other plans I usually make them around 9:30/10:00 am or 3:00 pm after their nap. Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you very soon!
