I’ve started to love this mauve color! In clothing and in decor. I have to show you my silk curtains in my office soon. There are from West Elm. I usually stray away from anything pink because I’ve never thought I look good in it. If you were to look in my closet I’m pretty sure you might find one pink top in total. But this hue is so much better! I am huge fan of these dusty shades lately. I think they work well with lots of pieces. You can pair with black, white, olive green, and grey. This top isn’t on Windor’s site anymore, just the bodysuit version. But I’ve found similar styles here, here, and here.
I’m still loving my lob haircut. I have a tutorial on it HERE. I like that once I style it, it will last a good 2-3 days. The only bummer is that I notice it growing more, which means more haircuts. Boo.

Happy Monday everyone! I feel like this was such a long weekend with Halloween and all. On Friday, Andrew and I went to a friends house for dinner, wine and games. We had such a great time and I can’t wait to do it again. Then on Saturday we went to Knott’s Scary Farm with a big group of people. I had no idea how scared I would be, since I’ve never really done any sort of haunted house or corn maze before. For starters, I am a super skiddish person. If I turn the corner and you are standing there, I’ll totally jump. I can’t even describe how terrified I was as Knott’s. Oh. My. Word. We first went through two mazes the second we got there and I was literally trying to power throught them, making as little eye contact with anything inside. Then when we were walking to Ghost Rider, some crazy/scary ‘thing’ jumped out at us in the smoke and I threw my water bottle up in the air, spilling it everywhere. Then I had a solid hour to catch my breath in line, but people would still scare you in line! No safe zones. Anywhere! Oh ya and I for sure thought I was going to die on Ghost Rider. So can you tell I won’t be going next year??? Then on Sunday, I chilled out in sweats and watched the Sea Hawks game. And we got a win…thank goodness. #gohawks
I have been obsessing over booties. I just got #6 in this collage to wear at fashion week and love them so so much. Get yourself some booties for the fall. They are so versatile which makes them a closet essential! My favorite way to wear them is by dressing them down with boyfriend jeans and a flannel. They also add a great look to dresses. No matter what your style looks like, there are endless options… open/closed toe, thin/chunky or no heel, suede/leather, hardware…you get it! Next time you are shopping, stop by the shoe department and try a pair on. Tweet me a picture too! Who else is SO ready for fall!? Bring on the colder weather! So have fun shopping my top pick below. I tried to include all price points.
