Kitchen Plans

Hey guys! Today I wanted to share some kitchen reno plans and inspiration photos that have given me a lot of great ideas. We have started our kitchen reno but are doing it in stages. So far we have taken out the microwave and replaced it with a new oven range hood. We also switched out our hardware on all the cabinets. Last weekend they started demo and took out the countertops and backsplash. Counters are going in this weekend!

I wanted to give you some inspiration photos that I’ve had saved over the past few months as ideas. We love the Spanish/Mediterranean/California vibe but an updated and more modern style. I am going with a lot of bright, crisp whites mixed with rustic wooden elements to warm it up and bring some character to the space.

I love the look of the wooden range hood. We are going to stain the bottom to match our fireplace mantle.

I also love gold hardware. We are doing a chrome faucet and stainless appliances with gold hardware on all cabinets.

We almost did a stucco range hood to match our fireplace but decided we’d stick with wood. I like when the oven area is really wide and grand with stucco hood so our current space would be a bit tight.

How gorgeous is this one?

For the back splash we are doing a rustic, spanish inspired mosaic tile. I am sooo excited for this step. It will really add so much warmth and character.
