Like mother like daughter

Happy spring everyone! Today I am excited to be partnering with Famous Footwear to share some super cute spring shoes and some insight on becoming a mom. With Mother's Day coming up, I'm reminded of how lucky I am to be June and Violet's mom. I'm also reminded of how important it is to be a positive influence on their lives. With each month they change and learn so much, making it that much more important to always be the best role model.

Review: Korres Black Pine Firming Line

Today I wanted to talk skin! I am a huge skincare lover. I am always on the hunt for the absolute best products. I only share things I have been using when my skin is at it's best, and lucky for me that time is now! Korres is a brand I've been using for a long time, so when they launched a new eye serum and reformulated a few products from their Black Pine line, I knew I had to try them!

Spring Style Trend: Neutral Shoes

Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you some ways to style neutral shoes. I just got a few pairs of shoes from Aerosoles that are perfect for spring. Neutral shoes are a great thing to add to your wardrobe because of how versatile they are. Especially with twins, styling clothes quickly is very important and pairing clothes with neutral toned shoes takes out a lot of the guess work.

First I am style these rose gold flats with black leggings. I wanted to show you how easy it is to change the look of an outfit by swapping out a few pieces.

^^I love how soft and feminine this look is. Rose gold and florals look so pretty together and are perfect for the spring. And keeping your layers lightweight keep the look fresh.^^

^^Here I chose a slightly longer trench, but kept it in a sheer fabric. The light pink color perfectly complements the rose gold flats. For my top, I have on a striped blouse in a similar fabric to keep the outfit cohesive.^^

^^One of my favorite ways to wear leggings is with a denim top. This one works great buttoned or un-buttoned. Denim is a great option for spring attire. It goes with pretty much everything, and I especially love it with a metallic! To make the look a little sporty, I have my backpack diaper bag which is both cute and functional!^^

Next, I am styling a pair of cork heels that have gold veining throughout them.

^^I love stripes for spring, especially navy and white!^^

^^I like to mix and match a lot of different types of neutrals. Denim jeans mixed paired with a camel bag and white top give an effortless vibe.^^

Beauty Essentials for New Moms: Pamper Routine

Life has changed quite a bit recently. With the birth of our twin girls, my days are now consumed with feeding, burping and changing on repeat. But I wouldn’t have it any other way! Because of my lack of free time, I have had to alter my beauty routine quite a bit.

Sweater Weather

It is finally starting to feel like fall! Today I have a maternity look that is my go to outfit pregnant or not. I love a chunky turtleneck with some tall boots. These jeans are by Paige and are maternity jeans with a stretchy waist. I got them off of Tilden and they have so many options of jeans that are so flattering on your tummy. This sweater is from Marshalls and surprisingly is not maternity. Sweaters are a lot easier to get away with when pregnant since they are usually longer and pretty stretchy. Bring on the cooler weather! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Maternity Shoot

We are a month away!!! Holy moly it is getting so surreal to know we are going to be holding our baby girls in such a short time. Even though I feel so yucky I really wanted to have some pictures taken with Andrew to remember this time in our lives. This pregnancy has definitely not been what I was expecting. Ever since we found out it was twins, I feel like we jumped on a rollercoaster of emotions. From awful morning (*more like all day) sickness, to an extremely achy body, the whole pregnancy glow thing just wasn't for me! But on the flip side, everything with the girls has been above and beyond. They are in the 70th percentile for size and have been so healthy this entire time. With so many risks associated with my type of twin pregnancy, we are very lucky to have had such a smooth ride. I can't thank all of you enough for your continued support over these last 8 months.
