But I love getting gifts and had to get him a few things to open on Christmas so here are some ideas for you! We are going to get him a train set next year when he’s a little older with a big wooden table to put it on. But I love the idea of a train set for Christmas morning. We did get him this baseball t-ball set, bowling set and busy board. My parents are going to get him a scooter or bike I think. I sent my mom these two options. I think they look so cute and vintage. I also got those little bath tubes to play with and the wooden car ramp!

Read MoreHey guys! It’s still just the first week of July and I feel like so much has already happened! So first off, Owen turned 1! I can’t believe our little guy has been in our family now for a whole year. He fits right in and has completely softened me. He’s definitely brought out a more mushy/emotional side to me. I could squeeze his thighs all day long. I love how gentle and sweet he is, but at the same time how rough and tough he is. Such a loveable giant! I wanted to share some photos from his birthday. We kept it low-key with just our family and Andrew’s parents. We did cake and presents and really had a great time celebrating Owen!

Read MoreI’ve been getting a lot of questions on my instagram about toys the girls are into right now. So today I’m going to round up everything that gets a lot of use! These are all toys we have had for a really long time and still get a lot of love. The things with small pieces are kept in bins in our playroom closet so Owen can’t get into them. And then we keep the larger items out in the playroom. We got a few of these for Christmas, their birthdays etc.
