Read MoreHey guys! I wanted to share a little about our trip to Texas and some things that worked and some things I would have done differently! I also vlogged the day after we got back so you can watch that below.
Read MoreOkay can I start by saying I know I went overboard. I really even tried to reign it in and of course here we are! My way of rationalizing is since we don’t really ever buy them new toys, holidays are the one time when they get a little something special. I also just love easter so much. Always have, since I was a kid. My mom would always have scavenger hunts to find our baskets in the morning before church. Also I’ve realized gifts are my love language (how I show my love). I’ve always been one to send cards, care packages or treats to friends and family as a way of showing I’m thinking of them. I think it’s because I’m no the greatest at showing my love verbally, so to me, this is the equivalent. Is anyone else like that? But honestly, I could have just done some chalk, a bunny and chocolates and the kids would have been more than happy!!
Read MoreI came up with this dish the other day and it was so yummy so I have to share! I usually just make pasta with a red sauce but saw this easy alfredo sauce on pinterest and had to recreate it. It’s crazy how easy it is to make, I don’t think I’ll buy a can of alfredo ever again! I use gluten free noddles, but you can use whatever kind you want. I have made this with penne and spaghetti noodles and it’s definitely better with penne but that was all we had in the pantry! For most recipes, I don’t use exact measurements so I’ll give you my best estimates!
Read MoreI haven’t ever shared much about me and Andrew’s dating past I’ve realized. I wanted to go down memory lane and talk about when we first started dating, how we made it through 6 years of a long distance relationship and everything in between.
Read MoreHey friends! I wanted to share the Valentine’s Day Baskets I made for our kids. I found it all at Target and Michaels and had so much fun with it all. Gifts are one of my love languages and I get so much joy in shopping for fun holiday things for the kids. The girls love everything pink and girly so this holiday is right up their alley! I love filling baskets (that we can use for other things) with fun items they will use (and some things they need). I don’t do much candy, more clothing/accessories and craft things! I usually put a little animal in, but they have way too many so I’m trying to not buy any of those for a while!!
Read MoreSo long 2020! Well, we made it through the year! Not that everything is suddenly all going to get better in a day, BUT, it does feel kinda nice to get out of 2020. Honestly, what a freaking year. I wanted to share some photos from this month and just wish you all a wonderful fresh start. I will be filming a video on my goals for the new year so today I want to look back on this year and do a little reflecting. Obviously there was a lot of not so fun things that went on, but I want to focus on the good things that came from this year.
Read MoreHappy Birthday June and Violet! How are you both 4 years old? You have filled my life with so much joy and love and I’m so grateful the two of you made me a mom. I will never forget the day I found out there were TWO of you inside my tummy. I was filled with a rush of nerves and panic. Now there would be two of everything, a high risk pregnancy with way more to think about and plan for, and my once carefully planned out pregnancy now terrified me. I remember your dad being so excited and happy, and I just felt paralyzed in fear. I think it took me a solid week to come to terms with what was happening. I did a lot of researching and reading about what to expect and ways I could prepare. But the crazy thing is nothing can really prepare you for twins. You have to just be thrown into it and just go with the flow. I have learned that life goes much smoother when you expect things to not go according to plan.
Read MoreTalking all about why I originally went gluten free. From symptoms I had, to tips on what to eat and how to mentally deal with it, I’m talking about it all! Also sharing food ideas down below in case you are new to eating gluten free and need some help!
Read MoreHey guys! I asked on my instagram account last week any questions you have for me and I got so many great questions from all of you. So I did two videos answering all your questions over on my channel. Both are down below for you to watch!
