Happy Monday everyone! I am currently sweating profusely as I type this and listening to some lovely construction a foot out of our apartment window. Oh the joys. Today’s video is all about staples. I have been ordering a lot off Vitacost’s site lately since we didn’t bring much with us to Seattle. This first order consisted of many essentials…drinks, oils, bars etc. I hope you can get some ideas from my purchases and like always leave me some of your favorites in the comments!
Butter London came out with an awesome new Spring 2014 line. The colors are so vibrant and pigmented, it is sort of unreal! The polishes are so stunning, they will look super cute for summer. I have tried out the lip glosses and was instantly impressed. They were super rich and felt really soft on my lips. They have a sheer wash of color. So even though the one looks bright purple in the tube, it gives a nice rosy glow to the lips…love! Let me know what products jump out at you the most!
I just posted a fashion haul on my channel and here is everything that I could find links to (LINKS BELOW PIC). I got great items from Forever 21, Target, Windsor and H&M. A few of the tops are different, but a close match. I seriously love these new pieces I found. They are so great for spring and summer. Are you proud of me for getting some colorful things?? Make sure to watch my haul to see everything in person!
I recently was sent some amazing products by Cover FX to try out. So far I have been loving everything.
I am really impressed with the amount of coverage these products provide and how flawless they leave my skin looking.
Here are some of the reasons why I think these products deserve more credit:
-will never irritate your skin
-helps improve your skin over time
-filled with vitamins, minerals, and redness reducers
-free of parabens, fragrance, gluten, mineral oil and talc.
The primers have a silky-smooth texture. They fill in fine lines and help provide an even canvas for foundation.
The cream foundation is my favorite. It is very rich, but spreads out beautifully. I am so impressed at the amount of coverage you get.
The pressed powder is really smooth. Use on top of any foundation for even more coverage. I also like to use this as a setting powder on top of any concealer (great for covering pimples).
The matte setting powder is so beautiful to set your foundation. Mine is in the shade medium which adds a bit of warmth to the skin.
I have the illuminator in sunlight. You can use this on top of your cheeks for a gorgeous radiance or over your entire face for an all over glow.
The liquid foundation is a thick formula, so I would recommend using a brush to help spread it out.
Same goes with the CC Cream, you only need a little bit. Both will make you look flawless and even!
I have been obsessed with this smoothie lately. If you have a Robeks near you, they have a seasonal smoothie out called Sweet Sunshine. I looked up what exactly is in it and have created it myself! It is really sweet but the parsley adds a great kick! Parsley is packed with nutrients and this is a great way to make it taste wonderful! I purchased all the ingredients at Trader Joes, expect the spirulina is from Vitacost (here is $10 off towards your order).
