Happy Memorial Day everyone! I hope you all are having a great relaxing day with friends and family. I spent the day by the pool with Andrew and ate some delicious bbq. For today’s post, I got inspired by this amazing spiked necklace I have been wearing sooo often. I love how it adds a touch of edginess to any outfit. I paired a basic white tank with floral shorts to keep the look from appearing too boyish. Combat boots and a studded black shoulder bag tie it all together!
Today’s look is all about mixing color and print. I love combining really casual pieces with something more dressed up. Here I wore casual jogger shorts, and paired them with a blouse, floppy hat, and wedges. As it starts to get really hot out, use both color and print to add interest to an outfit without adding many layers. Also, figure out where you want the focus to be. I wanted the emphasis to be on the neon lime shirt, so I kept it toned down with my shoes and jewelry. Have a great day everyone and thanks for reading!
I recently attended the opening of Isadora at the Topanga Mall. I fell in love! …anything draped in gold and silver is going to make me smile. So this company is actually already incredibly popular in other countries like Mexico and Argentina, but is just now opening in the US. We had a little field trip with Pivotal PR to check out the new location and do some shopping! The pieces were really cute and so affordable! Nothing is over $50 which is great!
