I’m starting to pull out my shorter dresses as the weather warms up. I love the ease of them. You don’t have to do much thinking with dresses because they are cute by themselves. Grab a cute pair of shoes and sunnies are you are good to go! I consider olive green a neutral because of how versatile it is. You can wear it anytime of the year too. I wore black sneakers with this dress to make it more casual and add in a tomboy vibe.You definitely have to wear a bralette under this dress. It goes low in the front with the lace up detail. I think a little lace peeking through looks super cute!
I still have been wearing beanies and trench coats pretty much on the daily over here! I love this trench from Forever 21 in particular because of how lightweight it is. This is the perfect piece to transition into spring. It still keeps me warm if I pair a thick scarf on top.

Sometimes you just need to wear black. I’m slightly obsessed with this coat from RO & DE noir. It is super warm and so chic with any outfit. I’m am completely in the holiday spirit these days, wearing warm coats, drinking white russians and listening to Christmas music 24/7. And I finished all my holiday shopping yesterday. So ever since I got this coat, I haven’t taken it off. Okay well occasionally. Andrew asked me last night, why do you always have that coat on? Because it’s cute and warm! If you are looking for a great trench that is warm for the winter, I’d highly recommend this one! I also have it in a dark green shade which is stunning. I kind of want to get it in black and grey now too. Yes the obsession is real! I’m also super into my thigh high boots. I think they add a nice edge to any outfit, and also warm up your legs! Something I have been loving lately are midi dresses. For some reason I never used to wear them, but I find them to be extremely comfortable and work for many occasions. Especially black ones. You can add a jacket, some jewelry, and you look totally put together. Especially with the holidays coming up, this style of dress would be perfect for a work party, Christmas Eve, or just a night out.

How is Thanksgiving in a few days?? Are you all ready? Good grief the holidays snuck up on me this year. My parents are going to be out of town so we’ll be spending the day with Andrew’s family. It is finally flannel weather! Well almost. I feel like I’ll wake up to overcast weather and then midday I’ll already be in shorts! Not okay! Time for some fall inspiration! I am loving that it has been a little cloudy lately, but it is still hot. This summer has been unreal. Anyone else? Don’t get my wrong, I love the summer and warm weather, but when it is over 100 degrees for a whole month I’m not a happy camper! You know how they say the sun makes you in a good mood? I think it’s the opposite for me. Overcast skies are heaven on earth. Probably because it is rare here haha. Seattle I miss you! Okay anyways, enough about the weather, let’s talk fashion. So what I love about fall is the colors. Warm, earthy tones are my favorite this time of year. Navy, camel, olive and burgundy are some of my favorites. I also like sticking to basics in the fall. Start with a pair of distressed jeans, add in a basic tee and then start adding layers. A cute cardigan, hat and booties will make you look instantly chic.
