So ever since I got this coat, I haven’t taken it off. Okay well occasionally. Andrew asked me last night, why do you always have that coat on? Because it’s cute and warm! If you are looking for a great trench that is warm for the winter, I’d highly recommend this one! I also have it in a dark green shade which is stunning. I kind of want to get it in black and grey now too. Yes the obsession is real! I’m also super into my thigh high boots. I think they add a nice edge to any outfit, and also warm up your legs! I also was inspired to try layering up my shirts. PS. This outfit was way too warm for these southern California days. It is supposed to be 85 today. Really?? I am so missing the Seattle mist right now! But I do love how this look turned out. I hope you guys love it too!

Can you believe it is almost September? What the heck? That just seems crazy to me. I swear, I always feel like summer will last forever and then…bam…it’s over. So even though it is still hot (yes even in Seattle-I think we brought the heat with us), I felt like I should start thinking about fall fashion. I am getting a tad over the ‘cochella’ look, which kind of went on the entire summer. But hey, I am all about it don’t get me wrong. So in honor of fall, I put together an outfit that is much more fall-appropriate but isn’t full-on chunky sweater and boots. Wearing pants was a big deal for me! Haha…but seriously. Adding in some heels dresses up this simple look and wearing a cross-body bag keeps the effortless summer vibe. And how cute is this one?? I hope you all enjoyed this look and have a great week!
