Ahh spring is in full bloom. Well it has actually felt like summer this week. It’s been in the 90’s. What in the world? Is it hot where you guys live or just me? I swear we get two weeks with rain and then it’s back to summer. Oh how I miss you Seattle! (I’m taking a trip there this summer and cannot WAIT.) We are headed to the river this weekend so more heat for me. But the river is such an escape for Andrew and I. It’s very refreshing to not have service for an entire weekend and just be.

Today’s look is what I wore out in Palm Springs last weekend and I love it so much. This dresss is super comfy and I love wearing this bralette under to add a little extra something. These wedges are also my new fav. I’ve been wanting a pair of black wedges and these are perfecto. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your friends and family! How the heck is it already May???? Seriously these months have been flying by. Oh also a little update on our kitchen! I went shopping for countertops today and picked out the quartz we want to go with. I loooove the look of marble but I want something more durable so I had to compromise. We are getting our lower cabinets installed in a few weeks so I’ll have more pictures very soon! (Did I mention our uppers are done? They look amazing!) Okay talk soon!
I’m starting to pull out my shorter dresses as the weather warms up. I love the ease of them. You don’t have to do much thinking with dresses because they are cute by themselves. Grab a cute pair of shoes and sunnies are you are good to go! I consider olive green a neutral because of how versatile it is. You can wear it anytime of the year too. I wore black sneakers with this dress to make it more casual and add in a tomboy vibe.You definitely have to wear a bralette under this dress. It goes low in the front with the lace up detail. I think a little lace peeking through looks super cute!

^^These shoes are perfect for spring! It has felt weird pulling out my warm weather shoes, but it’s a nice change up from boots! (only downside is you have to paint your nails!)^^
Yay for the weekend! I hope you all had a great week. I felt like I was in a fog all week. I’m not sure why. But everything seemed to affect me more than it should have, and I didn’t have much drive. I guess some weeks are just like that.

I stumbled across Nordstrom last night and saw there are having a huge Winter clearance sale. There are a lot of purses, home accessories, shoes and clothing items that are highly discounted. I wanted to give you a heads up because it’s going on just through the weekend. I put together pieces to pick up that would transition into spring perfectly. I am so confused by the weather in California right now. It feels like summer and I’ve been in shorts all week, except it rained yesterday. Go figure. I love that fedora, it would look so cute on vacation somewhere tropical! And I just started loving outfits that are more tomboy, so those adidas are calling my name! I’m also in desperate need of some basics. So those casual tops would be the perfect wardrobe addition!
