Friday Links!

Good morning! Sharing my top links of the week. It was a big week! The girls had their last day of preschool, went on stage for their school performance and made me the most proud mama! I also took them to get their nails done for the first time and they cannot stop looking at their sparkly little nails. And we had our new patio cement poured! This morning was the first day we could use it and it’s been so nice to be outside again. Next step will be to lay the grass down so that’ll be amazing. I hope you all had a great week and enjoy your long weekend!

When I'm asked if I'm having another baby...

I just touched on this topic briefly on my channel but felt the urge to share more here. And just have this here in case anyone needs to hear it now or someday down the road.

Are you going to have another baby? Are you going to have more kids?

Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

Okay can I start by saying I know I went overboard. I really even tried to reign it in and of course here we are! My way of rationalizing is since we don’t really ever buy them new toys, holidays are the one time when they get a little something special. I also just love easter so much. Always have, since I was a kid. My mom would always have scavenger hunts to find our baskets in the morning before church. Also I’ve realized gifts are my love language (how I show my love). I’ve always been one to send cards, care packages or treats to friends and family as a way of showing I’m thinking of them. I think it’s because I’m no the greatest at showing my love verbally, so to me, this is the equivalent. Is anyone else like that? But honestly, I could have just done some chalk, a bunny and chocolates and the kids would have been more than happy!!

Yummy Gluten Free Pasta Dish Recipe

Yummy Gluten Free Pasta Dish Recipe

I came up with this dish the other day and it was so yummy so I have to share! I usually just make pasta with a red sauce but saw this easy alfredo sauce on pinterest and had to recreate it. It’s crazy how easy it is to make, I don’t think I’ll buy a can of alfredo ever again! I use gluten free noddles, but you can use whatever kind you want. I have made this with penne and spaghetti noodles and it’s definitely better with penne but that was all we had in the pantry! For most recipes, I don’t use exact measurements so I’ll give you my best estimates!

Valentine's Basket Ideas for Kids!

Valentine's Basket Ideas for Kids!

Hey friends! I wanted to share the Valentine’s Day Baskets I made for our kids. I found it all at Target and Michaels and had so much fun with it all. Gifts are one of my love languages and I get so much joy in shopping for fun holiday things for the kids. The girls love everything pink and girly so this holiday is right up their alley! I love filling baskets (that we can use for other things) with fun items they will use (and some things they need). I don’t do much candy, more clothing/accessories and craft things! I usually put a little animal in, but they have way too many so I’m trying to not buy any of those for a while!!
