Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It rained here quite a bit, so I was in the best mood. Am I the only one out there who loves the rain? Andrew and I got sucked into watching old One Tree Hill re-runs and couldn’t stop! But to me there is nothing better than baggy sweaters, coffee, cuddling and rain.
Today’s look is all about transitioning into warmer weather. Roll up your sleeves and throw on some shorts, but keep the scarf and boots.
I fell asleep and woke up a happy girl! Why you ask? Because it is finally raining! I feel like most people hate the rain, but when it is raining I am so in love. I think the sound of rain is the most soothing thing on earth. Ironically, it was bright and sunny two days ago when these pictures were took!
This look is all about neutrals. There is something so effortless about monochromatic outfits. Play with different textures to add dimension to your look . A jacket in a contrasting shade and statement jewelry will give you just the right amount of contrast.
I had so much fun on this Windsor collaboration! The moment I laid eyes on this dress, I knew it had to be mine. I love pairing warm neutrals with brighter pieces, to balance out the look. I felt very 1970’s in this outfit, from the circle sunnies right down to the platform heels! Have fun transitioning into spring. It may not be as warm where you live right now, but throw on a neon top and you can pretend!
Happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I had a blast watching my sister-in-law’s dance competition. I grew up dancing, so it has a special place in my heart. I still can’t believe how warm it is here. My younger brother lives in Boston and is battling it out every day! In spirit of the warmth, I have a fun maxi dress look for you.
The weather in southern California has been so confusing lately. We finally got one day of rain, and now it is supposed to be 80 all week…what?? To adjust, I wore a sweater with my skirt and ditched the tights.
When you have an outfit with solid neutrals, pair some bold heels! These unfortunately are not mine. My friend Nicole let me wear them while we were shooting. Even still, they are fabulous and I love them!
Happy Opening Ceremonies Day! Who else is watching the Olympics tonight?
Yesterday I had a blast in LA. Nicole, from The Style Maven, took me to her friend’s house in the Hollywood Hills to shoot a future YouTube video and outfit posts. This first look is what I consider ideal! Boyfriend jeans, flats and and printed sweater are a great way to look pulled together but maintain your comfort!
With Valentine’s Day coming soon, I partnered up with Windsor to create a casual look that can be dressed up or down. It is super fun to put on a fancy dress and a pair of killer heels, but sometimes you just want to wear pants! I kept everything very light and neutral so it still has a fun and flirty feel. I love that you could pair these printed pants with nude heels to dress it up more or wear boots to keep it no-fuss.
I spent the afternoon at the Fernando Romero Salon in Beverly Hills on Monday. We were shooting a hair tutorial for Agave Oil that will be up on Sephora’s website next week! I show how to use the new Agave Healing Vapor Iron which makes my hair so smooth, I love it!
Happy Monday everyone! If only it were easier to get up on Monday mornings..cloudy skies make it that much harder. Today we are talking sweaters! Chunky sweaters are one of my favorite things to wear. They are so comfy and you can pair them with anything. Adding a statement necklace and lots of arm candy is an easy way to dress it up. Then, if you want to snuggle up on the couch later, just take off your jewels and you have an outfit fit for lounging! These pics were taken while visiting my friend Adrienne in Palos Verdes. I always have so much fun with her and it wasn’t bad looking out on the ocean all day either!
Slouchy boyfriend jeans are probably the most comfortable thing on this planet..aside from yoga pants. I love all the earthy tones in this outfit. It gives a very relaxed vibe. I hope you all are having a great start to your week. I have lots of videos and blog posts coming your way. I am finally all better, so I feel like I have to be super productive to make up for all the time I spent in bed and on the couch! Being sick is no fun! Enjoy the pictures and have a great day!
