When it comes to the bedroom, I like decor that is dreamy, soft and romantic. Your bedroom should be a place of retreat, soothing and relaxing. Tufted headboards, fluffy white comforters and delicate chandeliers are what I think of when I envision my perfect bedroom. I also love using lots of neutrals but in different textures throughout the room. I hope you get some inspiration looking through these pictures. Let me know in the comments what is on your wish list for your ideal bedroom.
It’s so funny when I look back on my pins under the ‘words‘ section. I always seem to be pinning quotes and verses with the same theme. My most recent ones have all been about being the change you want to see. I have recently felt really motivated to take more action in my job and quit waiting around for something to happen. It is all about your mind set. If you wake up with the intention of getting things done and staying positive, so much more is possible. I hope these few words of wisdom will help you get back on track. It is so easy to get lost in the shuffle of things. Sometimes it’s important to collect your thoughts, write down a list of what you need to do, and actually do it. But, through it all remember that God has the ultimate power in our futures and he will guide us every step of the way. When we put our faith in him, everything else will slowly come together the way he has envisioned. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday. Enjoy your day and keep you head up! Love you all!
Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am going to the beach for a few days with my family so I won’t be posting on here for a few days. I will have a video up on my YouTube channel tomorrow and another one on Friday so don’t miss those! I will leave you with some quotes to hopefully inspire you to have a great week.
With summer here it is time to soak up some sun and have fun with your friends and family! Whenever I am going somewhere involved water, I cut back on my makeup by a lot! Nobody wants to be in 100 degree heat with a bunch of foundation and eyeshadow on. In today’s video I show you how to look awake and pulled together with very little makeup. I hope you all enjoy this video and let me know some of your favorite products for the summer!
For my next decor inspiration, I have some amazing shots of kitchens that I love. I think the kitchen will be the room I care the most about. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and find it to be a very welcoming area of any house. Currently, our kitchen is so tiny it is almost impossible to move around, yet I still am in it a lot! The kitchens I am drawn to have black and white accents. I loooove black window panes with white walls. I also like when the cabinets are white around the wall, and black for the island. I hope to one day make my kitchen feel lived in and cozy, with a touch of elegance.
With summer right around the corner it is time to get that tummy of yours nice and tight! There is nothing better than feeling great in a bikini. I teamed up with Andrew’s brother to make an ab workout for all of you. We put together a few highly effective moves that you can do right in your living room. All you need is your own body! I hope you all enjoy this workout and let me know what types of workout videos you would like to see in the future!
*repeat one or two more times for an even better workout! 6 pack here you come!
Happy Thursday! It is almost Friday!! Do any of you have big plans for the weekend? I am going to another wedding down in San Diego. I figured with wedding season in full swing this look was completely perfect. I am obsessed with the breezy feel and pale lavender shade of this dress. Light purple flatters most skin tones and adds such a feminine flare. I met up with Bri Seeley, the designer of this dress to shoot a few looks. When I see her designs I think, feminine and classic. This dress definitely fits both of those descriptions. I love to pair any pastel look with nude accessories. I also kept the jewelry gold to enhance the romantic vibe. I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
So I want to start a new series where I show you some photographs that I love. I know that my blog is mainly fashion and beauty, however I am also a huge home decor fanatic. Living in a tiny and temporary apartment isn’t too ideal for showing you my decor. So I figured I would share pictures that I have pinned that represent what I would like my future home to look like. I wanted to start off with the office. I would love to have my own office one day. A space where I can go that represents me. Somewhere clean, pretty, and inspiring.
A few things on my wish list:
big desk
shelves
pretty frames
fresh flowers
chandelier
lots of light
fun rug

If you didn’t already know, I am obsessed with tea. It is weird because I used to hate it. I went to London once with my friend and her parents and they forced me to drink tea. I remember thinking to myself, who in their right mind would ever willingly drink this? Well I guess I grew up or my tastebuds changed, and now I really enjoy a cup of tea. I also just started adding a little spoonful of raw honey to my tea and it makes it sooo delicious. Soo anyways, I recently came across My Beauty Tea on Instagram, a loose leaf tea company, and fell in love. I have been tested out a few different types this week and have my review for you guys.
These are sugar free, calorie free, carbohydrate free, and 100% natural using flowers, fruits and natural flavors.
They are also blended and hand packed in Canada.
Sweet Mango: sencha green tea, natural mango flavor, sunflower petals (very hydrating and full of antioxidants)
I loved how fruity this tea tasted. It was really light and had a little sweetness to it. You can definitely taste the mango. Sometimes fruit flavors can be so faint you barely notice them, but this had a great mango flavor.
This is a great alternative to drinking juice. It is super refreshing and delicious. Anything with hibiscus and orange is automatically my favorite. This would also taste great with a little lemonade poured in for a hot summer day.
Beauty Blend: herbal tea, cinnamon bark, boldo leaves, spearmint leaves, orange peels, black tea leaves, camomile flowers, rose hips and mallow flowers (great for digestion)
I love any tea with mint. I know it’s a personal preference, but me and mint are bff’s. If you have never tried iced mint tea, you really need to put it on your list. This tea though isn’t just a mint tea, it also has lots of other herbs which really balance it out. The cinnamon stands out to me too, which makes it a great tea to drink when it’s a little cloudy outside!
