Killin’ It

summer stylesummer stylesummer stylesummer stylesummer stylesummer styleToday’s look is all about adding a pop to something simple. Jean shorts and t-shirts are basically what I live in, especially in the summer. So when I want to spice it up a bit, I will add in a bag with a pop of color and some fun bracelets. I am loving all the printed t’s that are out right now. This one is by StyleLately and I have worn it like three days in a row…whoops. I also am loving my arm candy. I live in my T&J jewels along with my Haute Betts beaded bracelets. I hope you all are having a great week so far!

Hey guys! I was so looking forward to this fashion post. I decided to take the pics in San Luis Obispo because I felt the style of this dress fit right in. This entire outfit is from BooHoo, and seriously go to their site right now and check everything out. Everything is really unique and very affordable. The print and style of this dress is unlike anything I own. Honestly, I love each accessory here too. The watch is so unique and the rings are great to layer. I have been using this bag every single day in Seattle so far. It’s super roomy and makes my life much easier! Oh yes and the shoes are perfect. They would be super cute with jean shorts or skinny jeans too. Love!

Amusement Park Look

Hey guys! So I am heading to Disneyland tonight and then spending the entire day at both parks on Friday. I go with Andrew’s family once a year…a tradition that I am so onboard with! I put together a typical outfit I wear when going somewhere like Disneyland. I tend to always wear jean shorts, comfy tank top or t-shirt and simple accessories. Usually I will wear a watch and a delicate necklace that won’t get in the way on rides. I also like to wear sneakers to stay comfy, but I do wear flip flops a lot (don’t wear sneakers if you are planning on going on the water rides). Also, make sure to wear a crossbody bag! Keep it lightweight and semi-small so you can take it everywhere. A zipper is always a plus too! When I am at a theme park, the last thing I want to worry about is my outfit. So by keeping things easy and minimal you can focus more on what ride to go on next!

Fourth of July Style

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 6.5 / 7

With the Fourth of July coming quick I put together a look that I am in love with. When it comes to holidays I never like to go over the top. Instead, I will pick one festive item that can by styled down. Here I found a pair of laid back denim shorts with a flag print. To keep this look very hippie casual, I paired some vans and woven bracelets. I am loving backpacks right now. They are so easy to throw over any outfit for an effortless appearance. You can also stuff it with all your beach/lake/river essentials!! Last make sure you have a great suit and some fun shades!

All About Floral

Happy Monday everyone! I have looking forward to using this dress in a post ever since I received it in the mail. I wore it to my cousins wedding about a month ago and it was perfect. The great thing about prints, is you really don’t need to add many accessories. I paired some nude heels and a colbalt blue bag that ties in perfectly with the colors in the dress. This bag, by the way, is so beautiful in person. It is so well made and can be easily dressed up or down. However, the thing I love most about this bag, is what it represents. It is by Mofe, which is an amazing company that is all about today’s modern feminism. Their logo parallels the infinity symbol to embody the notion of no boundaries or limitations, and acts as a constant reminder that women can achieve anything they set their mind to. How awesome is that!? I hope you all have a wonderful week and remember to always follow your dreams no matter how big or small they may be.

Preppy Chic

I had so much fun with this look by Bri Seeley. Totally different than my usual laid back style, but it is always fun to step outside your comfort zone every now and then. I was immediately drawn to this mustard skirt. It adds a richness to the outfit without being too in your face. I also am loving this black and white printed top. There is a tie at the neck which you can’t see from my pictures. The neat thing is, you can tie it in front or back depending on the look you are going for. Right when Andrew saw these pictures he said, ‘oh like New Girl’. So if you are wanting to look like Jess, this is perfect for you! On our way out to the river, we stopped in Palm Springs to grab some coffee. This is what I was wearing on our trip. Super casual, with light layers to keep me cool. I have been loving these shoes lately. They have a mesh material which lets your feet breath. Also, this necklace has been around my neck ever since it came in the mail! You can adjust the length and it goes with every single thing. Love! Have a great week everyone!

Fire Escape Glamour

Today’s look is pretty major if you ask me. It also wasn’t an easy task to get up on that fire escape in wedges and a long dress! Hey all for the shot right? This is another Bri Seeley dress that has that great romantic feel. I love how the slits make it feel so airy and light, while adding to the drama. To keep all the focus on the dress, I kept my accessories to a minimum. When wearing a statement dress, add in one great piece of jewelry and a clutch.

Pretty in Purple

pretty in purplepretty in purplepretty in purplepretty in purplepretty in purplepretty in purpleHappy Thursday! It is almost Friday!! Do any of you have big plans for the weekend? I am going to another wedding down in San Diego. I figured with wedding season in full swing this look was completely perfect. I am obsessed with the breezy feel and pale lavender shade of this dress. Light purple flatters most skin tones and adds such a feminine flare. I met up with Bri Seeley, the designer of this dress to shoot a few looks. When I see her designs I think, feminine and classic. This dress definitely fits both of those descriptions. I love to pair any pastel look with nude accessories. I also kept the jewelry gold to enhance the romantic vibe. I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Weekend Getaway

Lately, I have been so into stripes. I find them so easy to wear and they make any outfit more interesting. I love that you can either dress this look up with heels, or keep it casual with some flip flops. I added in a big tote that I use for travel. If you are looking for a carry-on bag for the plane check out Tjmaxx, they have tons of affordable options. For accessories, I layered dainty bracelets and kept everything slightly minimal. When I wear chunky heels, I don’t like my jewelry to compete. How amazing are these sunglasses? I am loving the retro look a lot of sunglasses have right now. These ones are from Haute Demand and I have a coupon code below! I hope you guys all have a great Monday! Thanks for stopping by!
