Hey guys! I’ve been so excited to share this outfit with you. Forever 21 just launched a new shop section called Forever 21 Now and in honor of it, I have some super affordable pieces for you to shop! They’ll launch new pieces every week based on current trends. Check out their instagram HERE. I love mixing things up and trying out new styles. I decided to wear a darker lip for this ‘mostly’ black look because it’s fall, so why not! The lip color I’m wearing is the color I created in a recent video. You can watch that HERE. I’m loving this dress with the fringe sleeves. I think it adds a little edge to a simple dress. To make it more fall appropriate I added over the knee boots which I am so obsessed with. These are incredibly comfortable and dress up any outfit. I think these would look great with some skinny jeans! Let me know what styles you have been loving this season in the comments! Thanks so much for stopping by!
So I’m fully aware that it’s still November, but I’m so ready for Christmas. I walked through Target yesterday and couldn’t stop staring at all their holiday decor. If you like metallics and white, you need to go take a look at their new things. I was just scrolling through Joss & Main, which has become a morning ritual now, and got sucked into the Christmas stuff. I even took out some holiday decor pieces I had in storage last night and tried to put them up super nonchalant so Andrew wouldn’t be able to tell. Here is my compromise, I’m decorating ‘wintery’ right now. No santa’s or red and green is up in our home, just whites and metallics. So if you want to start decorating but be secretive about it, I came up with some ‘winter’ picks that will get you in the mood, but won’t make you look like a Christmas freak. (Confession: Michael Buble Holiday is currently playing on my Pandora.)
Happy Thursday! I hope you have all been having a great week so far. I feel like I’ve been all over the place this week! I went up to LA on Tuesday for a dinner with Kevin Murphy and I’m going back up for another event tonight. It’s definitely nice being able to drive to LA for events, but the traffic is so brutal. But tonight I’m lucky because one of my friends is going to drive with me. Time always goes faster when driving with a friend! Something great happened yesterday, it was cloudy all day! Haha, I know all of you who live anywhere other than California are rolling your eyes. This is big news over here! It’s been in the low 80’s high 70’s which I know is still warm, but sadly it feels so much cooler. I’ll take 78 over 105 any day! One other totally random thing, I finished season 6 of Vampire Diaries last night, it was so intense! I am almost caught up! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy today’s outfit. Thanks for stopping by!
It is finally flannel weather! Well almost. I feel like I’ll wake up to overcast weather and then midday I’ll already be in shorts! Not okay! I wanted to pair some fun new pieces I recently got and put together a classic fall look. I’m currently really into destroyed denim and booties. I guess I’m always into booties, BUT I have been loving the combo lately. And this new camel bag is so nice! It fits a ton of stuff and I’m digging the color. I hope you all enjoy this look!
I’m still in shock that it’s October. This year is flying by! Yet, as far as the weather goes, it still feels like summer! Since I am so ready for long sleeves and booties, I am going to power through the heat to show off some of my favorites with you! I hope you guys are all having a great week so far. I am going to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I can’t wait! I’ll be sure to take some pictures!
For those of you who don’t follow me on my social media outlets then you haven’t heard! I chopped my hair off! A whole lot of it. I cut off about 10 inches and I have been loving it so far. I didn’t realize how attached I had become to my hair until I was sitting in the chair watching those scissors come toward me. I was actually terrified and started second guessing what I was doing. But then I told myself it is just hair and if I hate it, it’ll grow back. The second she cut it off I couldn’t stop smiling. It was crazy! I was grinning ear to ear the whole time. I honestly think this hair suits me much more. It fits my face and body shape more and it is a lot more fun. My hair had gotten so long that I didn’t ever want to style it. It was so heavy and to be honest, a nuisance. Now I feel much more fresh and I appreciate my hair much more. If you can tell, I went much lighter because all the blonde in my hair was cut off. Do you guys like my new do? Let me know in the comments!
Time for some fall inspiration! I am loving that it has been a little cloudy lately, but it is still hot. This summer has been unreal. Anyone else? Don’t get my wrong, I love the summer and warm weather, but when it is over 100 degrees for a whole month I’m not a happy camper! You know how they say the sun makes you in a good mood? I think it’s the opposite for me. Overcast skies are heaven on earth. Probably because it is rare here haha. Seattle I miss you! Okay anyways, enough about the weather, let’s talk fashion. So what I love about fall is the colors. Warm, earthy tones are my favorite this time of year. Navy, camel, olive and burgundy are some of my favorites. I also like sticking to basics in the fall. Start with a pair of distressed jeans, add in a basic tee and then start adding layers. A cute cardigan, hat and booties will make you look instantly chic. What are you all most excited for this fall? P.S. I actually got a hot chai latte the other day and it was bomb! I’m not quite ready for pumpkin yet!
Happy Monday! I wanted to share a look I wore this past Friday out to dinner with Andrew. This summer has been very long and very hot. Today is the first day I haven’t had to turn the AC on at 9:00 am. It has been brutal to say the least. So considering it was still pretty toasty last Friday, I threw on this maxi dress because 1. it is super comfortable and 2. it is only one thin layer of clothing. I paired it with a pair of studded flats and crossbody bag for an effortless feel. I hope you all have been having a great summer. I am soooo ready for fall. Scented candles, sweaters and hot tea are calling my name!
Hey guys! How have you been? I swear I will start to post on here more often! Believe it or not, I am still organizing stuff. It is endless! But I do love organizing… I have some home updates coming soon for you as well. I did a few home updates on my YouTube channel, but I have some more detailed pictures that I’ll post here next week.
Today I have a super laid back look for you. It has been super hot here lately and I have been living in shorts. I just got this dreamcatcher top, and love the wide cut of it. It makes it really flowy and comfortable. (I’m semi obsessed with graphic tees…) I also love wearing kimonos for hot summer nights. They add a light layer if it’s breezy outside, but allow your skin to still breath.
Ahh. I love a great serene bathroom. I like mixing prints and materials to give the room some character and a vintage feel. Black and copper accents, white marble, and big open windows are a few things I am drawn to. I also love simplicity in the general design. A separate tub and shower, large mirrors, and touches of detail. I see bathrooms as a place of relaxation and I feel the design should mimic that entirely. Head over to my Pinterest board to see what else I love!
